Becoming a member
For more than 25 years we have been studying and protecting the birds
and their habitats and this makes us one of the more active conservation
groups of the Strait of Gibraltar, but to continue further: WE NEED YOUR
COLLABORATION.
With your HELP you will be contributing in:
- ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS of our society.
- Determination of the STATE OF POPULATIONS of the birds through the
censuses and scientific ringing.
- The study of the MIGRATORY ROUTES of the birds that occur through the
Strait of Gribraltar.
- The PROTECTION OF HABITATS and creation of new RESERVE AREAS by means
of the signed agreements of collaboration.
With a minimum contribution of 24.00 € for the year (only 2.00 €
monthly) you will be helping us in the study and conservation of, not
only the birds, but all our natural surroundings.
In addition:
You will receive as a WELCOME GIFT an english version of the GUIDE TO THE BIRDS OF
the Strait of Gibraltar.
You will have PERIODIC INFORMATION to participate in all our projects
and activities.
You will receive the magazine MILVUS, the bulletin of the Ornithological
Group of the Strait.
